ORDER:
Earlier, petitioner filed W.P.No.2960 of 2018 before this Court questioning the action of the Respondents in evicting him from the subject property. This Court disposed of the said writ petition on 31.1.2018, granting 30 days time to the petitioner herein to vacate the subject premises and to handover the subject property, while keeping it open to the Respondents to take action as per law.
Now in the present writ petition, in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, petitioner stated that pursuant to the above order of this Court, he has harvested 70% of the crop and there exists only 30% of crop in the field and the crop could not be harvested completely because of scarcity of workers and eventually sought time for harvesting rest of the crop and handover possession.
Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader and taking into consideration the nature of controversy, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition, granting (10) days time finally from today to the petitioner to vacate the subject property. It is also made clear that the petitioner herein shall handover possession immediately thereafter.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
