Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that in view of certain subsequent events favourable to the petitioners, the cause in this writ petition does not survive for adjudication; and, therefore, seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn.
