ORAL ORDER:
Against the decision of the Sub Collector dated 18.9.2017 canceling the pattadar pass book and title deeds granted in favour of petitioners to an extent of Ac.4.82 in Survey No. 376/2 of 81 Upparapalle revenue group of Nanjampeta village, petitioner preferred appeal on 22.9.2017 along with an interlocutory application to grant interim stay. Alleging that no orders are passed on the said appeal or application for interim stay without any justification, this writ petition is filed.
Since appeal is pending from September, 2017, without going into the merits of the matter, the Joint Collector – 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If for any reason, he can not dispose of the appeal within the time stipulated above, he shall consider the interlocutory application and pass appropriate orders thereon expeditiously.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
