This appeal is preferred, under Section 260-A of the Income Tax Act, 1961, against the order passed by the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, Hyderabad in ITA.No.817/Hyd/2016 dated 15.12.2017 dismissing the appeal filed by the revenue.
Ms.K.Mamata, learned Senior Standing Counsel for Income Tax, would submit that the question of law, which arises for consideration in this appeal, has been decided by the Supreme Court against the revenue in Commissioner of Income-Tax vs. HCL Technologies Ltd1 .
Following the said order of the Supreme Court, and in terms thereof,
this appeal is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
