HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.9561 OF 2017

ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is son of late Pasula Venkataiah, who was earlier poojari in the 2^nd respondent temple-Sri Moola Peddamma Temple, Gadivemula Village. Late Pasula Venkataiah has three sons viz., Peddanna, China Peddanna and China Macherla. In terms of the understanding between the parties, the sons of late Pasula Venkataiah, are required to be performed the archakatwam on turn basis. However, his brothers are not cooperating and not allowing the petitioner to participate in the Archakatwam. In those circumstances, the petitioner made a representation, dt.19.01.2017, to the 1^st respondent-Deputy Commissioner of Endowments, Kurnool, for handing over the charge of archakatwam from the 4^th respondent, as per his entitlement for a period of four months, but the same has not been disposed of. Hence, the Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the 1^st respondent to consider his representation.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the nature of the grievance, which the petitioner espouses, 1^st respondent shall consider the representation of the petitioner and sort out the issue among the siblings of late Pasula Venkataiah amicably. A sincere and honest effort must be made by the 1^st respondent to settle the issue amicably in stead of dragging the parties to the litigation. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall also stand closed.
