Mohd.Zubair Vs The State of Telangana rep by its Principal Secretary

This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the 3^rd respondent in renewing fitness of the petitioners’ vehicles, despite repeated requests, as illegal and arbitrary.

When the matter is listed today, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in similar circumstances, this Court allowed WP.No.9570 of 2017, dated 06.04.2017, and the same is not disputed by the learned Government Pleader for Transport.

In view of the same, this writ petition is allowed in terms of the order, dated 06.04.2017, passed by this Court in WP.No.9570 of 2017, directing the respondent authorities to allow the petitioners forthwith to submit their applications through online and process the same, as expeditiously as possible and complete the testing formalities, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court makes it clear that the respondent authorities may take action against the petitioners for furnishing the alleged fake addresses and getting their vehicles registered in accordance with law. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this writ petition, shall stand closed in consequence.
