prohibited and reserve forest area with a view to commit Red sanders smuggling, cut live red sander trees, committed theft of Red sander logs and hide the same in forest area at Bonugutta Forest area with a view to transport the same with active connivance of A-20 to A-27, who are forest department employees. On 10.02.2017 at about 6.00 a.m., while A-1, A-5, A-6, A-11 to A- 19 and A-21 to A-23 have tried to transport the same illegally through an auto bearing No. AP-03-TA-6098, Honda CBR 250R motor cycle bearing No. AP-03-AT-0250 and Pulsar 220F motor cycle bearing No.AP-04-AY-4671, when police have tried to intercept them, A-1, A-5, A-6, A-21 to A-23 armed with deadly weapons like sickles, attacked on the police party with a view to commit murder, assaulted the police party. During their assault, the police party has escaped unhurt, among them, A-1, A-5, A-6, A-21, A-22 & A-23 have been arrested remaining accused A-11 to A-19 were absconded from the spot, 8 red sandal wood logs weighing 346 kgs, one Ape company auto bearing No. AP-03TA-6098, one Honda CBR 250R motor cycle bearing No. AP-03-AT0250 and one Pulsar 220F motor cycle bearing No.AP-04-AY-4671, and six sickles were seized from the possession of the accused who were arrested i.e., A-1, A-5, A-6, A-21, A-22 & A-23 under the cover of Panchanama and on the strength of the same, the police registered the same as Crime No.9 of 2017 and issued FIR.
