THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO ELECTION PETITION NO.22 OF 2014
ORDER:
This Election Petition is filed challenging the election of the 1st respondent, who was declared as elected to the 66-Charminar Assembly Constituency.
- When the matter is pending, sole petitioner died on 01-01-2015 and to that effect, death certificate is filed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
- In view of death of the sole petitioner, the election petition abates.
- Accordingly, the Election Petition is dismissed as abated. No order as to costs.
- Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this election petition shall stand closed.
