Heard Sri Jalli Kanakaiah, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri P.Buchi Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents No.2.

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the fourth respondent in not considering the case of the petitioner for his regularization into service as Work Inspector from the date of his initial appointment ie. 29.01.1991 on par with his colleagues as per the policy of the Government vide G.O.Rt.No.138, dated 08.05.2006, as arbitrary, illegal and contrary to law; and consequently to direct the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner was not included in the regularized list on the ground that the department enquiry is pending against him. He further submits that the Enquiry Officer has completed enquiry and submitted his report on 27.05.2013 to the second respondent for taking further action. Though various grounds are raised in the writ

petition, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the respondent authorities to consider the representation dated 16.06.2015 made by the petitioner for early disposal of the departmental enquiry and regularization of his services.

Learned counsel for the respondent authorities submits that he has no objection for the same but however submits that the same shall be directed to be considered in accordance with law.

Without going into the merits of the case and having regard to the submissions made, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 16.06.2015 and pass orders in accordance with law, at the earliest, preferably within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
