ORDER:
The only grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that the revision petition bearing No.H6/37/05 pending before respondent No.1 is not being considered and disposed of in spite of directions of this court in W.P.No.17491 of 2005, dated 08.12.2005. The aforesaid writ petition was filed by one R.Mohanudu, who is the revision petitioner before the Joint Collector in the revision referred to above. The petitioner herein figures in the said revision petition as respondent No.1.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that in spite of directions of this court in W.P.No.17491 of 2005, the revision petition still remains pending and is not being disposed of.
On the last date of hearing, learned Government Pleader was required to get instructions and it is now submitted on behalf of the Government Pleader that the said revision petition was already posted for hearing to 05.07.2014. However, the details as to the hearing aforesaid are not available with either of the counsel.
In view of the fact that the revision petition was already scheduled for hearing on 05.07.2014, this writ petition was disposed of directing respondent No.1-Joint Collector to hear and decide the said revision petition within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law, if not already disposed of. Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
