1 When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that during the pendency of this Writ Petition, the respondent retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation, as such, the subject matter of the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
2 Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
