The case of the petitioners is that the 1^st petitioner owns land admeasuring Ac.0.37 ½ cents in survey No.1155 and Ac.0.36 cents in survey No.1156 and the 2^nd petitioner owns land admeasuring Ac.1.54 cents in survey No.1156 of Nandalur Village & Mandal, Kadapa District. The case of the petitioners is that the 1^st petitioner has entered into an agreement of sale on 23.11.2013 and the 2^nd petitioner is also intending to sell the property to third parties. Sub-Registrar, Registration & Stamps Rajampet, YSR Kadapa District (3^rd respondent) to register the deeds of conveyance, the 3^rd respondent informed the petitioners that the properties in survey Nos.1155 & 1156 are classified as Government lands and therefore no deed of conveyance can be entertained. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the action of the 3^rd respondent is illegal. No notification is issued under Section 22-A of the Registration Act and therefore the 3^rd respondent could not have rejected the request of the petitioners.

2. Apparently, so far as the deeds of conveyance have not been presented before the 3^rd respondent. The petitioners are given liberty to present deeds of conveyance before the 3^rd respondent. On such presentation, the 3^rd respondent shall receive and process the said deeds of conveyance in accordance with the Indian Registration Act, 1908 and Indian Stamp Act, 1899. If the 3^rd respondent is of the opinion that the properties in survey Nos.1155 & 1156 are prohibited for registration by any statutory notification, the 3^rd respondent shall pass appropriate orders and communicate the decision to the

petitioners. If there is no such objection, he shall register the deeds of conveyance if the same are in accordance with the Indian Registration Act and Indian Stamp Act and release the same.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed. No order as to costs. As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed.
