ORDER:-
This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner/Accused No.1, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking quashing of proceedings in S.C.No.22 of 2013 on the file of I Additional District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge for Electricity Cases, Prakasam at Ongole.
At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner expressed willingness to compound the offence by paying necessary fee as per law.
The petitioner is at liberty to compound the offence. In such an event, the respondent shall take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the criminal petition shall stand closed.
