The Court made the following: ORDER:
This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal arises out of order, 08.09.2008, in W.C.No.42 of 2007 on the file of the Commissioner for Workmen’s Compensation and Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Kadapa.
The Registry has placed before the Court award, dated 23.07.2014, of the Lok Adalat organised by the High Court Legal Services Committee, a perusal of which would show that respondent No.1 agreed to receive reduced compensation of Rs.1,15,000/- against the awarded amount of Rs.1,34,021/-.
The Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is, accordingly, disposed of in terms of the award of the Lok Adalat.
As a sequel to disposal of the appeal, interim order, dated 18.03.2009, is vacated and CMAMP.No.449 of 2009 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
