This appeal, under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, is filed by the Land Acquisition Officer aggrieved by the order, dated 20.10.1998, passed in L.A.O.P.No.10 of 1991 by the learned II Additional District Judge, East Godavari at Rajahmundry, by which the compensation was fixed at Rs.13,000/- per acre for the subject lands.
During pendency of this appeal, at the request of the parties, the matter was referred to Lok Adalat for settlement.
It is submitted that the subject matter of this appeal has been settled before the Lok Adalat held at Hyderabad and Award, dated 13.12.2013, was passed and the said Award is placed before this Court.
In that view of the matter, the Appeal Suit is disposed of in terms of the Award, dated 13.12.2013, passed by the Lok Adalat. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. No costs.
