This appeal is filed by the Singareni Collieries Company Limited, Godavarikhani, through its General Manager, under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, aggrieved by the award, dated 22.11.2000, passed by the reference Court i.e. the learned Senior Civil Judge, Peddapalli, in O.P.No.50 of 1995.
Earlier, this matter was referred for settlement before the Lok Adalat. From the records, it is clear that the matter was settled before the Lok Adalat and an award was also passed.
In view of the settlement arrived at before the Lok Adalat, this appeal stands disposed of in terms of the award of the Lok Adalat. No order as to costs.
Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
