“…… to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to declare the action of the respondent authorities in not releasing the petitioner’s Lorry bearing Reg.No.AP-05-TA4478 and insisting for payment of the value of the vehicle, is illegal, arbitrary and unjust and consequently direct the respondent No.1 to pass orders for release of the vehicle by accepting the third party surety for Rs.2.00 lakhs and to grant such other relief or reliefs ………”

At the hearing, Smt. V.Padmaja Reddy, the learned counsel for the petitioner, sought for permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to her client to file a Contempt Case for the alleged willful disobedience of order dated 27.02.2012 in W.P.No.5801 of 2013.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner in terms of the prayer made.

As a sequel to the dismissal of the Writ Petition,

W.P.M.P.No. 9724 of 2013 filed by the petitioner for

interim relief stands dismissed as infructuous.
