ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“ … to issue an appropriate writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the Vehicle Check Report No.A1679637, dated 14-12-2012 issued by the 2nd respondent as illegal, improper and unjust and further direct the respondents herein to release the petitioner’s Skoda car bearing registration No.KA01 MH 1353 which was seized pursuant to the Vehicle Check Report No.A1679637 dated 14-12-2012 issued by the 2nd respondent…”
After arguing the case, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought for permission to withdraw the Writ Petition, with liberty to the registered owner of the vehicle in question to file a fresh Writ Petition.
The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty in terms of the prayer made.
As a sequel to the dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.8829/2013 filed for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
