ORDER:
The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to declare the action of respondent No.3 in repeatedly paying domiciliary visits to the petitioner’s house and insisting to produce the person of Kavati Sashidar @ Jemmy or alternatively inform his whereabouts and threatening to implicate in false criminal cases for failure thereof, as illegal and arbitrary.
The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No.3, accompanied by police constables, has been repeatedly visiting her house for the last one week, and was insisting that she produce her son, Kavati Sashidar @ Jemmy, before their authority even though there is no crime registered/pending against him.
Learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that there is no case lodged against the petitioner or her son – Kavati Jemmy, or her family members till today on the file of Vedullapalli Police Station; and they were neither called to the Vedullapalli Police Station at any time nor were the police officials interfering with their personal life and liberty.
Recording the submission of the learned Government Pleader that the respondents are not interfering with the personal life and liberty of the petitioner, the Writ Petition is closed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
