This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus to direct respondent No.1 to dispose of the petitioners’ representations dated 22-6-2012 and 27-8-2012 for granting alternative house sites in lieu of the land purportedly taken over by respondent No.4 for construction of a school. A detailed counter affidavit has been filed by respondent No.3 wherein he has denied the claim of the petitioner that any part of the land belonging to the petitioners in Sy.No.1234 was utilised for construction of the school building. However, Sri Pankaj Reddy, learned Counsel for the petitioners, stated that since the petitioners’ representations are pending before respondent No.1, his clients will be satisfied if a direction is given to the said respondent to consider the representations and take a decision thereon.

In view of this innocuous grievance of the petitioners, without dealing with the various contentious issues raised in the Writ Petition, respondent No.1 is directed to dispose of the representations of the petitioners, if any received by him

and communicate his decision to them within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order. If the petitioners feel aggrieved by such communication they shall be free to file a civil suit for declaration of their right and other appropriate reliefs.

Subject to the above direction and observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

As a sequel to the disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.31675/2013 filed for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
