The petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the Sub-Registrar, Thadikonda, Guntur District, in refusing to receive and register the document presented by him relating to the land in Sy.No.1332 of Tadikonda Village and Mandal, Guntur district.

The Tahsildar (I/c), Tadikonda Mandal, furnished written instructions dated 01.08.2013 to the learned Government Pleader for Revenue stating that the land in Sy.No.1332 of Tadikonda Village was classified as Inam Dry as per the Re-Survey and Settlement Register (RSR) of the village dating back to the year 1905. He further stated that this land was converted into a Patta land and that the petitioner purchased the said land from one Vadlamudi Ravindranadh on 13.11.2006 under a registration sale deed bearing document No.4564 of 2006. He further stated that the Mandal Revenue Inspector, upon inspection of the land, had reported that the subject land was a Patta land and was not either an Inam or an Endowment land as per the IB register of the village. The Tahsildar also confirmed that Pattadar Pass Book No.290825 was issued to the petitioner under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Lands and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971. The Tahsildar also clarified that as per the communication received from Sri Veera Chenna Mallikharjuna Swamy Temple, Tadikonda village, it possessed an extent of land admeasuring Ac.165 cents in Sy.No.1331-C of the village and had no land in Sy.No.1332 of the village.

4. In the light of the aforestated facts brought on record by the Tahsildar, Tadokonda Mandal, it is clear that the Sub Registrar, Tadikonda, has no legal basis to refuse to receive and register the

document presented by the petitioner on the ground that the said land is an Inam land.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the SubRegistrar, Tadikonda, to receive and process the document presented by the petitioner in respect of the land in Sy.No.1332 of Tadikonda Village and Mandal, Guntur district, without reference to the entries in the revenue records. In the event the document presented is found to fulfill the requirements of the Registration Act, 1908 and the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, the Sub-Registrar, Tadikonda, shall complete the registration formalities and release the document in accordance with the due procedure. WP MP No.24754 of 2013 shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
