JUDGMENT: (Per Hon’ble Sri Justice N.V. Ramana)
This writ appeal is filed by the APSRTC against the order dated 0211-2012 passed in W.P.No.34008 of 2012, whereby the learned single Judge disposed of the writ petition directing the respondent-APSRTC to extend the benefit of continuity of service to the petitioner from the date of termination till the date of his reinstatement, except for the period during which he was absent, and that this continuity of service shall, however, be without monetary benefit and shall be counted only for the purpose of regularization at a later date.
However, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the respondent that the appellant-APSRTC had filed several appeals challenging similar orders passed in several writ petitions, and a Division Bench of this Court
dismissed all those appeals by a common order dated 25-04-2013 in W.A.No.1665 of 2012 and batch.
Therefore, since the subject matter of the present appeal is squarely covered by the said common order dated 25-04-2013 in W.A.No.1665 of 2012 and batch, for the same reasons, this appeal is also dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
