After hearing the learned Counsel for the parties, we dispose of this petition by the following order:
By the impugned order dated 22.06.2013 the State Government has taken an ad hoc arrangement for proper functioning of the Chief Executive Officer, Andhra Pradesh State Wakf Board. Learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare appearing for respondent No.1 submits that it is not a regular appointment and by temporary arrangement this order has been issued. We are of the view that temporary arrangement cannot continue for unlimited period. We, therefore, direct the State Government to make a regular appointment in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
