O R D E R:
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State.
On a report lodged by the Inspector of Police, Chodavaram alleging that when he along with his staff raided the premises of the village goddess festival at China Yathapalem Village, Sabbavaram Mandal of Visakhapatnam District on 7-2-2013 at 8-45 P.M where the activity of lottery was going on, the petitioners and some others obstructed and beat them and caused severe injuries. The name of the petitioner is mentioned in the First Information Report. This Court considers the offence as serious in nature and is of the view that the petitioner is not entitled for bail at this stage as the investigation is at crucial stage. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
