CONTEMPT CASE No.1397 of 2013
ORDER:
This Contempt Case is filed alleging disobedience of the order of this Court dated 21.02.2012 in W.P.No.1700 of 1998 whereunder this Court clarified as follows:
“In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of while upholding the impugned order except to the extent of clarifying that the punishment imposed shall be construed as follows:
“Punishment of removal shall stand set aside and the increments of the petitioner shall stand deferred for a period of two (2) years without cumulative effect.”
In response to the notice before admission ordered in the contempt case, the respondents have appeared and produced a copy of the proceedings of the Depot Manager, Siddipet dated 14.09.2013, whereunder they have calculated and paid the amount towards difference of wages for the period in question in compliance with the orders of this Court.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that, since the order has been complied with, nothing survives for consideration in this contempt case.
The Contempt Case is, accordingly, closed. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
