Order: (per the Hon’ble Chief Justice Sri Pinaki Chandra Ghose)
In this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent-authorities to retain Mr. Kothakota Srinivasa Reddy, the 5th respondent herein as Chief of Special Investigation Team (SIT) of A.C.B.
This matter does not come within the purview of public interest litigation since the matter is concerning transfer of the 5th respondent on promotion as Inspector General of Police, by order dated 3.4.2012.
Hence, we do not see any reason to entertain the present petition.
The Public Interest Litigation is accordingly dismissed.
