CRIMINAL PETITION No.6032 of 2012
ORDER:
The petitioner is accused of offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 324/34 IPC. It is alleged that the petitioner has been harassing his wife both physically and mentally demanding for additional dowry. It is alleged that the petitioner was always beating the de facto complainant and that the petitioner made the farm servant also to beat the de facto complainant and that the petitioner demanded her to sign on a blank white paper and commit suicide thereafter and that finally the petitioner beat her black and blue and made his farm servant to beat her and threw away from the marital house. The petitioner went to Government Hospital with a bleeding injury on her lower lip and other injuries. Having regard to the alleged severe physical cruelty on the part of the petitioner towards the de facto complainant, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. The
petitioner is directed to surrender before the Magistrate and seek regular bail thereafter.
