COMMON JUDGMENT:

The Criminal Appeal, preferred by the State, and the Criminal Revision Case, preferred by P.W.1, are directed against the judgment of acquittal of the respondent-accused in S.C.No.320 of 2006 on the file of the Court of the IV Additional District and Sessions Judge (FTC), Ongole, dated 24.04.2007.
This Court, on 06.06.2012, directed the Registry to take steps to serve notice on the respondent-accused. Pursuant to the said direction, the Registry had issued notice to the respondentaccused through the concerned Court. Subsequently, the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Ongole, addressed a letter dated 05.07.2012, to the Registry informing this Court that the respondent-accused namely Ramala Jayarami Reddy died on 07.06.2008 and a death certificate was also enclosed to that effect.
In view of the same, the Criminal Appeal and the Criminal Revision Case are dismissed, as abated.
