The government seems to have assigned land of an extent of Ac.7-56 cents situated in Survey No.130-1 of Somaladoddi village of Anantapur Mandal and District to various beneficiaries some time during the year 1936. The State Government has introduced a condition refraining alienations of assigned lands through their G.O.Ms. No.1142 of 1954. The aforesaid assignment of Ac.7.56 cents situated in Survey No.130-1 of Somaladoddi village being in the year 1936, possibly the State could not have objected to the alienation of lands in the said survey number and to the extent indicated supra. Hence, the Mandal Revenue Officer, Anantapur, informed the SubRegistrar, Anantapur, through his communication dated 27^th

September 1988 furnishing no objection for sale of the above said land by the pattadar and also requested the survey number to be deleted from the list of lands prohibited for registration.

It is therefore appropriate to direct the third respondent not to insist upon the production of No Objection Certificate from the revenue administration for registering any sale transaction concerning land comprising of Ac.7.56 cents situated in Survey No.130-1 of Somaladoddi village of Anantapur Mandal and District and proceed with the document in accordance with law.

4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
