C.R.P. No. 3223 of 2010

Oral order:

The petitioner has filed this C.R.P. questioning the order dated 31.05.2010, passed by the Judge, Family Court, Ranga Reddy District, in I.A. No. 2147 of 2009 in O.P. No. 830 of 2009, granting interim maintenance of Rs. 7,500/- each to the respondents, who are is wife and daughter respectively.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

Today, both the petitioner and respondent No.1 appeared. This Court counseled them, and both of them agreed to reconcile their differences. However, having regard to the financial problems being faced by him, the petitioner submitted that pending disposal of the suit for maintenance, he will pay a sum of Rs. 4,000/- each to the respondents towards their maintenance, to which respondent No.1 also expressed no objection.

In view of the above stand taken by the parties, I deem it appropriate to modify the order under revision and dispose of the C.R.P. with the following directions:

Pending disposal of the suit, the petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.4,000/- each to the respondents towards their maintenance. He shall pay the arrears of maintenance at that rate within a period of six weeks from today.

Accordingly, the C.R.P. is disposed of. No costs.
