COMMON JUDGMENT:

The complainant, accused and their respective counsel are present.

Aggrieved by the judgment dated 24.06.2008 passed by the V Additional Sessions Judge, Elugu, West Godavari District in Crl.A.No.76 of 2002 confirming the judgment dated 08.03.2002 passed by the II Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kovvur in C.C.No.587 of 1994, these revision cases are preferred before this Court.

It is submitted that at the intervention of the elders and well-wishers, the matters are compromised on receiving the amount for a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- vide demand draft No.336104 and another sum of Rs.3,50,000/- vide demand draft No.336109 and cash of Rs.50,000/- by the complainant. To the said effect, the parties filed full satisfaction memo in O.S.No.18 of 1998 on the file of the Additional Senior Civil Judge, Kovvur. Both the parties agreed to the above said terms of compromise. The complainant and the accused

who is now present before the Court stated that in view of the compromise, they are compromising the revision cases.

In terms of the compromise between the parties, both the Criminal Revision Cases are disposed of. The judgment dated 24.06.2008 passed by the V Additional Sessions Judge, Elugu, West Godavari District in Crl.A.No.76 of 2002 confirming the judgment dated 08.03.2002 passed by the II Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kovvur in C.C.No.587 of 1994, is set aside. The accused are acquitted of the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
