CRIMINAL PETITION No.12816 of 2011
ORDER:
Petitioner/A-1 approached this Court with a prayer to quash the proceedings initiated against him in C.C.No.424 of 2010 on the file of the III Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad, L.B.Nagar, Ranga Reddy District, wherein he is facing trial for the offences punishable under Section 498-A IPC & Sections 3,4 and 5 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
Heard.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, while not pressing for the main prayer, confined his arguments only to the extent of dispensing with the presence of the petitioner before the trial Court.
In any event, considering the nature of the offences wherein the question of identity of the accused before the trial court does not arise, the presence of the petitioner before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates the learned Judge insists for the same and the petitioner shall be properly represented by his counsel.
With the above observation, this criminal petition is disposed of.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
