JUDGMENT:
This appeal is filed by the appellant/complainant aggrieved by the judgment in C.C.No.68 of 2001 on the file of the VIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, against the respondent/accused for the offences under Sections 138 and 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, since the cheques numbering 13 issued by him towards discharge of legally enforceable debt for a total sum of Rs.1,05,84,196.84 paise (One crore five lacks eighty four thousands one hundred ninety six and eighty four paise) were dishonoured with an endorsement ‘INSUFFICIENT FUNDS’.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the appellant/ complainant filed memo seeking permission of the Court to withdraw the appeal.
3. Permission as sought for is accorded.
4. Accordingly, the criminal appeal is dismissed as
withdrawn.
