ORDER:
The petitioners challenge the inaction of the Farmers Service Co-operative Society Limited, Palmakole, Shamshabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, in paying them their terminal benefits. They seek a consequential direction to the respondent-Society to pay them gratuity, bonus and encashment of leave, etc. along with interest.
By interim order dated 26.04.2005, this Court directed the respondent-Society to pass appropriate orders upon the representations made by the petitioners with regard to the payment of their terminal benefits in accordance with Rules. Sri N.S.Pattabhi Rama Rao, learned counsel, representing Sri Nandigam Krishna Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that the petitioners had not responded to the letter addressed to them after the listing of this case for hearing.
In the light of the interim orders passed by this Court directing the respondent-Society to pass appropriate orders upon the petitioners’ claims for payment of terminal benefits, it appears that the cause of action in this writ petition has worked itself out and the petitioners are no longer interested in pursuing this case.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.
