Oral order:
Alleging that the respondents have deliberately and willfully disobeyed the orders dated 08.09.2010 passed by this Court in W.P.M.P. No. 28537 of 2010 in W.P. No. 22380 of 2010, the petitioner filed the present contempt case praying the Court to punish the respondents for contempt.
Pursuant to the notice ordered by this Court, the respondents appeared before the Court. They filed counter-affidavit supported by material papers, inter alia the notification dated 05.10.2010 issued by the election authority, namely the Districct Collector, Chittoor, fixing the revised election schedule for completing the process of election as ordered earlier vide proceedings dated 24.07.2010.
In view of the above, no contempt can be alleged against the respondents.
Hence, the contempt case is closed. No costs.
