These Writ Petitions are filed by certain of the lessees whose lease period already had come to an end. 2. It is stated that by virtue of interim orders granted by this Court, the respective writ petitioners are continuing in possession of the respective shops.

3. Several averments had been made in the affidavits filed in support of the writ petitions narrating the details.

4. Counter affidavits also had been filed.

THE COMMISSIONER OF ENDOWMENTS, GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH, HYDERABAD AND OTHERS^[4] .

The main grievance of the writ petitioners in all these Writ Petitions is that in similar cases though certain representations for extension of the leases on the enhanced rent had been considered, the cases of these writ petitioners are not being considered. It is however brought to the notice of this Court that several of the leases are coming to an end by the end of this year i.e., end of 2009 and a decision is going to be taken in this regard.

7. It is needless to say that if in similar cases extensions are being granted, on the basis of the enhanced rents, which may be offered, if the cases of the writ petitioners also are similarly placed, their cases also may be considered in accordance with Law.

8. Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are disposed of directing the 1^st and 2^nd respondents to consider the cases of these writ petitioners in accordance with Law for

the extension of their lease periods on the enhanced rent, if similar cases are going to be considered. 9. The Writ Petitions are disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
