ORDER:
Owing to the continued absence of the learned counsel for the petitioner on the previous dates of hearing, viz., 28.08.2009, 19.10.2009, 23.10.2009 and 26.102.26009, the matter was directed to be listed for dismissal on 29.10.2009. Today, a representation is made on behalf of the learned counsel seeking an adjournment. The apathy displayed on the earlier occasions clearly demonstrates that the petitioner and his counsel have no interest in prosecuting the matter. Sri Gokula Rama Rao, learned counsel for the respondents, is present.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
