JUDGMENT:
This writ appeal is directed against the order dated 15.4.1997 passed in WP No.6388 of 1997.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the licence period has already been expired and therefore, there is no need to extend the licence period further.
Under the above circumstances, we are of the opinion that no cause of action survives in this writ appeal due to efflux of time.
Hence, the writ appeal is dismissed as infructuous. However, this order will not stand in the way of the respondents to participate in the future tenders.
