(Appeal under Section 173 of M.V.Act against the order of the Court of
the II Additional Chief Judge, City Civil Court, Hyderabad dated 24.7.2002 made in OP.No.1431 of 1999.
This appeal coming on for hearing and upon perusing the Memorandum of Appeal, the orders of the Lower Court and the material papers in the case and hearing the arguments of Sri C. Vikram Chandra , Advocate for the Appellant of Sri K. Madhava Reddy, Standing Counsel for APSRTC for the Respondents .
This Court while allowing the Appeal and in modification of the decree of the Tribunal both order and decree as follows:
1. That the amount of compensation of Rs.1,26,544/- as awarded by the Tribunal be and hereby is enhanced to Rs.1,58,869/-.
2. That the enhanced amount of Rs.32,325/- shall carry interest at 6% per annum from the date of claim till the date of realization.
3. That same as aforesaid the decree of the Lower Court shall stand confirmed in all the aspects and
4. That there be no order as to costs in this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.
