ORAL ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking Mandamus declaring the action of the first respondent in not passing any order on the appeal filed by the petitioner being aggrieved by the order passed by the second respondent-Joint Collector in proceedings No.A.C.D.Dis.No.32/2005-S7 dated 31.1.2006.

It appears, petitioner was the fair price shop dealer of Rentachinthala village and mandal, Guntur district. While so, his authorization was cancelled by the third respondent-Revenue Divisional Officer vide order dated 13.4.2005. Aggrieved by the same, petitioner carried the matter before the second respondent-Joint Collector. The second respondent dismissed the said appeal vide order dated 31.1.2006. Aggrieved by the same, petitioner filed revision before the first respondent-District Collector. According to the petitioner, the said revision is neither taken up nor it is numbered as of now.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on merits, the first respondent is directed to take up the revision purported to have been filed by the petitioner and dispose of the same within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by communicating the same to the petitioner.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order

as to costs.
