Oral order:
In view of the law declared in Harisingh v. State of U.P .1 , the grievance of the petitioner that the respondents in particular the second respondent has not registered the petitioner’s complaint dated 21-11-2006 conveying information as to the commission of a cognizable offence by certain specified individuals, could be more appropriately pursued by appropriate proceedings under Section 190 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
In view of the available remedy, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to pursue the appropriate statutory remedy. No costs.
