O R D E R:
This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the respondents to convene the meeting of the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council which was constituted under G.O.Ms.No.251, dated 06-05-1999. However as per Section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Medical Practitioners Registration Act, 1968, the term of the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council is only for a period of five years and the same has expired. Therefore, directions as prayed for cannot be granted.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
