This writ petition is directed against proceedings of the second respondent in Rc.No.636/06/C, dated 08.5.2006.

2. Under the impugned proceedings, a suspensioncum-show cause notice was issued enumerating certain charges against the petitioner. In fact, having aggrieved by the suspension-cum-show cause notice dated 08.5.2006, the petitioner has already filed a statutory appeal before the Joint Collector and Additional District

Magistrate, Anantapur. Though the appeal is taken up, stay petition has not been disposed of. The records were called for. At that stage this writ petition is filed challenging the very same proceedings dated 08.5.2006 i.e., suspension-cum-show cause notice.

3. I am of the opinion that having availed statutory, alternative and effective remedy of appeal, the petitioner could not have filed this writ petition challenging the very same proceedings. In the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it appropriate to direct the Joint Collectorcum-Additional District Magistrate, Anantapur, to take up the appeal of the petitioner and dispose of the same within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
