Petition under Article 226 of the constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the Affidavit filed herein the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in collecting the house tax at exorbitant rates in Voolapally Grama Panchayat, Bikkavolu Mandal, East Godavari District, contrary to the rules framed under G.o.Ms.98 dated 14/03/2002 Panchaya Raj and Rural Development (PTS.III) Dept., issued by the 1st respondent as arbitrary, illegal and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to collect house tax as per G.O.Ms.No. 98 dated 14/03/2002, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development (PTS.III) Dept., and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.
