Petition under Article 226 of the constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the Affidavit filed herein the High Court will be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the respondent to forthwith alter the date of birth of the petitioner in his passport bearing No. B-3306505 valid from 15-1-2001 to 14-1-2011 and also correct enter the correct name as Rahim instead of Raheem, which is wrongly entered in the passport. In the light of the representation of the petitioner herein dated 18-3-2003.
