By this writ petition the petitioner has challenged the order dated 24.03.2026 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal as well as transfer order dated 21.04.2025 whereby the petitioner has been transferred from Jaipur to Delhi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner after attaining the age of superannuation is going to

retire on 31.07.2026. Learned counsel prayed for quashing of the transfer order dated 21.04.2025.

Learned ASG appearing for respondent(s) opposed the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material placed on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the present case and also the fact that after attaining the age of superannuation the petitioner is going to retire on 31.07.2026, we deem it just and proper to quash the transfer order dated 21.04.2025 qua the present petitioner.

Accordingly, the writ petition is hereby allowed.

Misc. application, if any, stands disposed of.
