Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner participated in the recruitment process for the post of Livestock Assistant (Pashudhan Sahayak) and after successful document verification, the petitioner's name was duly included in the final selection/merit list dated 09.12.2025 in the applied category. It is submitted that similarly situated candidates, whose names appeared in the said final list, have been issued appointment letters by the respondents, whereas the petitioner

has been arbitrarily ignored and not considered for appointment despite being fully eligible and selected. It is submitted that aggrieved by the aforesaid inaction, the petitioner has already submitted a detailed representation dated 26.12.2025 before the Director, Animal Husbandry Department as well as respondent No.2.
