Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that petitioners have filed a detailed representations (Annexure nos.-3 and 5) which were to be decided within a period of 60 days, as per the relevant provisions. However, on account of political pressure,

the same is not adjudicated by District Collector - Chairman of District Level Scrutiny Committee and the State Level Scrutiny Committee, as formulated in light of judgment reported in 1994 6 SCC 241 titled Kumari Madhuri Patil V/s. Additional Commissioner Tribal Development .

Learned counsel has submitted that non-redressal of the grievance in timely manner is effecting the rights of the petitioner and community at large.

Considering the facts of the case, this Court directs that representations (Annexure nos.-3 and 5) be decided by District Collector- Chairman of District Level Committee, within a period of thirty days in light of the ratio encapsulated in Pawan Meena vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors. registered as (SBCWP No. 1665/2024; Neutral Citation: 2024:RJ-JP:5792) and circular (No. i- 10¼1½ izlq-@vu q -&1@2012) dated 19.02.2024 passed by Chief Secretary, Rajasthan, in accordance with law by way of a speaking order.
