Instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with a limited prayer that the directions may be issued to the SubDivisional Magistrate, Jaipur-II (Sanganer) to expedite the

proceedings initiated by the petitioner by filing an application bearing No.05/2025 under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 (hereinafter to be referred as "the Act of 2007").

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application under Section 5(a)(b)(c) of the Act of 2007 on 22.01.2025 seeking maintenance. He further submits that even after passing of more than a year, the same has not been decided so far.

Taking into consideration the fact that the application under Section 5(a)(b)(c) of the Act of 2007 has been filed by the petitioner with a prayer to issue directions to the respondents to pay maintenance and such application has not been decided even after passing of more than a year. This Court feels that ends of justice would meet if the respondents-authorities are directed to decide the application of the petitioner as early as possible.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Jaipur-II (Sanganer) to expedite the proceedings of the application and to dispose of the same as early as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of submitting the certified copy of this order.
