This Criminal Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking emergent parole for a period of 15 days on account of medical exigency of his father.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his father has been referred to cardiologist for further treatment and therefore, the respondents be directed to extend him emergent parole for a period of 15 days.

The petitioner is undergoing sentence of life imprisonment pursuant to judgment dated 04.12.2023 passed by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge No.1, Bundi in Sessions Case No.194/2021 upon his conviction under Section 302 IPC. A perusal of the material on record reflects that on an earlier occasion, he was extended 15 days emergent parole from 04.12.2025 to 18.12.2025 on account of illness of his father. The petitioner is again seeking emergent parole based on the Medical Board Certificate dated 13.03.2026 wherein, his father has been referred to the cardiologist for further treatment. His application for emergent parole has been rejected by the respondents vide order dated 19.03.2026 on account that from the record, it was not reflected that his father was suffering from serious ailment. We are in complete agreement with the reasoning assigned by the respondents and do not find any material on record to demonstrate that his father is critically ill and the petitioner is entitled the emergent parole again for a period of 15 days on this account.

Resultantly, the Criminal Writ Petition (Emergent Parole) is dismissed.
